Requesting approval of the Agreement between Rio Grande Valley College and County of Hidalgo, Texas. The purpose of the Agreement is for Rio Grande Valley College and Hidalgo County to provide clinical education for nursing and allied health students at the clinical facilities which provide essential public health services and will serve to provide clinical support during public health exercises or emergent events as further described in the MOA attached herein.
BACKGROUND
Rio Grande Valley College nursing and allied health students will assist and support the medical services at the County-based clinics and during emergent events or exercises which will benefit the community's growing medical services field.
