Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Venser Contractors, LLC, for the base bid, additive alternate no. 1 and additive alternate no. 2 in the amount of $393,626.00. UCP Fiscal Years’ 30 & 31 (2017, 2018) Alamo – Water & Sewer Improvement funds will be utilized.

The Urban County Program has requested and received bids for the City of Alamo– Water & Sewer Improvements. Cruz-Hogan Consultants, Inc. prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on February 20, 2019. After review the project engineer recommended Venser Contractors, LLC as the lowest of ten (17) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter, bid tabulation sheet, contract, certificate of liability insurance and HB 1295 form).
