Nondiscrimination requirements contained in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Texas General Land Office (GLO) regulation implementing Civil Rights, Fair Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Section 504 Standards Officer for the GLO/CDBG-DR Contract No. 18-419-000-B128 and No.18-271-000-A923.

BACKGROUND
As required by the Texas General Land Office (GLO), the Hidalgo County Urban County Program must designate an Officer to ensure compliance with Civil Rights, Fair Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Section 504 Standards, which all prohibit disability discrimination by any program or activity that receives federal/state funds. Also, appointment of a Section 3 Coordinator and Labor Standards Officer is required by the GLO.
