“Subject to Compliance with HB 1295” the Urban County Program is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Mor-Will, LLC, the recommended responsible bidder in the amount of $805,575.75 utilizing UCP funds from Fiscal Years 31 - 33 (2018- 2020)  Hidalgo Flood Drainage Improvement Funds (Pending legal review).

The bid opening was held on March 24, 2021 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was MJA Construction, LLC, however, the second lowest bidder is an Urban County Program Section 3 approved contractor.  Mor-Will, LLC accepted to match the lowest bid and therefore, is recommended by Javier Hinojosa Engineering for the Hidalgo Flood Drainage Improvements project.   Project consists of flood drainage improvements to Hidalgo’s Old Townsite.   Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance.
