Requesting approval to amend the 2019 contract agreement between Hidalgo County (the “County”) and Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. (AHSTI), a Texas non-profit corporation (CHDO). The amendment to the program agreements will allow for a decrease in the amount of housing units to be developed.
BACKGROUND
The County and AHSTI entered into an Agreement for Grant of HOME funds in August 27, 2019 (FY 2019 Agreement) in which the CHDO agrees to develop affordable housing pursuant to County’s HOME Program as defined and described in the Agreement.
