Requesting approval of correction to AI-92666 approved by CC on 10/03/2023 to adjust the contract amount for the 2016 State Mitigation Competition Phase 2 Segment C project awarded to Saenz Brothers Construction from $3,986,172.86 to $3,997,676.86.

BACKGROUND

The construction contract for Segment C was awarded with a shortage due to an error the in subtotal, but not an error in the contractors bid by line item. Items 28, 29 and 30 of the Base Bid were not calculated in the Base Bid subtotal, therefore, an $11,504.00 deficiency was calculated. In re-evaluating the figures for all bids received, it was determined that Saenz Brothers Construction remains the lowest, responsible bidder, despite this miscalculation.
