1.  Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(7)(A) an item that can only be obtained from one source because of the existence of patents, copyrights, secret processes or monopolies;

2.  Acceptance and approval of the sole source declaration for Curis System, LLC. to purchase Curis 3 Bio-decontamination System, Curis Hand Sprayer and Curis System Data Management System, in the total amount of $43,646.59. CDBG-CV Other Public Services funds will be utilized.

The Urban County Program requested quotes for the purchase of  Bio-decontamination System, Hand Sprayer and Data Management System, for the CDBG-CV Health Facility (Bio Safety Lab).  It was determined that Curis System, LLC was the sole provider of said instrument, therefore, a sole source declaration was requested and approved by the Purchasing Department.
