Requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with The 5125 Company, the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $515,555.00 utilizing CDBG Fiscal Years 34,35 & 36 (2021,2022,2023) Hidalgo Flood Drainage Improvements Funds.
BACKGROUND
The bid opening was held on March 6, 2024 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was The 5125 Company. Project consists of flood drainage improvements to include the upgrade and expansion of the storm sewer system and will also include the reconstruction of street. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer, contractor’s general liability insurance and HB-1295 forms. Project engineering firm is Javier Hinojosa Engineering.
