Requesting authorization to award and enter into a construction contract with Calidad Construction, LLC, the lowest responsible bidder, in the amount of $145,327.25.

The bid opening was held on August 28, 2024,  and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Calidad Construction, LLC. Project consists of the continuation of street improvements to include the reconstruction of Paloma, 1st street, 2nd street, and 4th street, and the paving (overlay) of 3rd street to include adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity. Other expenditures include professional engineering service fees, surveying geo-technical and construction material testing fees, and related appurtenances. Attached is the letter of recommendation by Izaguirre Engineering Group, LLC and contractor’s general liability insurance. UCP funds from Fiscal Years 2022 & 2023 Sullivan City Street improvements Funds will be utilized, all subject to compliance with HB 1295.
