The Hidalgo County Urban County Program (UCP) is requesting approval for the final settlement between Hidalgo County vs. Sara Ellen and family Partnership, L.P. and Sara Ellen and Samuel Children’s Partnership L.P. Parcel Eleven (11) of Fifty-five thousand dollars and zero cents ($55,000.00) for a Flood Drainage Improvements project known as “Trenton Drain” in Precinct No.4. The project has been funded through the Disaster Recovery Program DRS 010068 and the Texas General Land Office Contract No. 10-5287-000-5293 (Acct. #1-1288-463-00-250-006-1-899).
BACKGROUND
During a condemnation court hearing on August 30, 2011 three (3) special commissioners agreed on the amount of fifty-five thousand dollars and zero cents ($55,000.00) to be awarded to Sara Ellen and family Partnership, L.P. and Sara Ellen and Samuel Children’s Partnership L.P Parcel Eleven (11). A check should be made payable to Arturo Guajardo Jr., County Clerk. The settlement should let us proceed with the construction of the Trenton Drain in Precinct No. 4.
