BACKGROUND
Authorization to accept the FY2011 SCAAP grant from the U.S. Department of Justice,
Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), was approved by Commissioners' Court on 11/08/11
(AI-29473).
Awarded funds are to be used for correctional purposes only. The budget includes
overtime pay (no fringe benefits), repair and maintenance services, other equipment
and the purchase of vehicles.

The amount of $200,395.00 grant award was direct deposited in Special Revenues Funds
on 11/22/11.
