Urban County Program on behalf of the Precinct No. 1 is requesting authority to award and enter into contract with Del Sol Homes for a construction contract for the Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements (Donna Square) within City of Donna, in the amount of $89,777.00 to include the materials and installation for the rehabilitation of pavilion and related appurtenances at the Donna Square Park, in Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1. UCP Year 22 & 23 (2009 & 2010) Precinct No. 1 (Donna) Parks, Recreational Facility Improvement funds.

Bids were opened by the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on December 7, 2011. The engineering firm of Alcocer Garcia Associates, Inc. reviewed the bids and recommended that the bid be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder being Del Sol Homes in the amount of $89,777.00. See attached bid tabulation for your review, along with letter of recommendation by the engineering firm, and request by city of Donna and Precinct No. 1.
