Urban County Program, on behalf of the City of Palmview, is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with MJA Construction, LLC for the Street Improvements project in the amount of $109,036.20, utilizing funds from UCP Year 23 (2010) Urban County Street Improvements line item.

The bid opening was held January 18, 2012 and the lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was MJA Construction, LLC. The project involves street improvements to include curb and gutter, drainage, striping, lighting, and all related appurtenances on Minerva Street, Abram Road, and Bentsen Palm Drive in Palmview, Texas. Please see attached recommendation by the project engineer.
