Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) contract with Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley (CCRGV) and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment will not change the current budget, but will allow us to move funds within the current budget for Rapid Re-Housing. This will help Catholic Charities to assist additional families with financial assistance (i.e. rent, utilities, deposit).

The HPRP Program requires that a total of 100% of the HPRP funds be spent by July 20, 2012. CCRGV expenditure ratio is at 92.13%. The amendment will only change the amounts in the Rapid Re-Housing category, but will stay within the budget. No changes will be made in the Homeless Prevention category.
