Requesting approval and authorization to purchase One (1) New  12x44 Modular Office Building through Hidalgo County's membership/participation in TASB-BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program's awarded vendor, Ramtech Building Systems-Project through Contract #335-10-Project #2012-306-OGG:

a. Option I, without ADA Ramp in the total amount of $32,865.00 which includes a 12.53% (decrease) of $4,710.00  from original Buyboard Price due to requested specifications;

b. Option II, to include the Wood Landing and handicap assembly (ADA Compliant) with an additional cost of $4,255.00 for a combined total of $37,120.00;

with the proposed modular office building to be located at West Hwy 107 where existing Drainage Office currently is located and has been modified/customized to accomodate (2) offices and RR  as requested by Pct. #3 Commissioner Joe M. Flores.

BACKGROUND

All site civil preparations will be done in house by Hidalgo County/Pct. #3 Staff.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Funding will be appropriated to "Pct. #3 Drainage Improvement-Other Structures" for proposed purchase in the amount of $296,053.00 as per attached email from BO Management under AI-35688 on December 18, 2012.
