Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 1 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Castle Enterprises, LLC for a street improvement project (Saenz Avenue) located within Precinct 1 area. Total contract amount $222,724.05 utilizing Precinct No. 1 FYs 20, 21, 22 & 23 (2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010) street improvements funds.

Precinct No. 1 has requested and received bids for the street improvements project (Saenz Avenue). TEDSI Infrastructure Group, Inc. prepared specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on May 22, 2013. After review the project engineer recommended Castle Enterprises, LLC as the lowest of three (3) qualified bidders.
