Urban County Program, on behalf of the City of Penitas, is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated contract for professional architectural services with Alcocer Garcia Associates, Inc. in the amount of $6,400.00 utilizing Year 25 (2012) Urban County funds for public facility improvements at the city’s Public Library located at 1100 South FM 1427 in Penitas, Texas.

Alcocer Garcia Associates, Inc. has submitted a best and final offer for the required professional
architectural services for the 2012 public facility improvements project which consists of architectural design and construction administration services, electrical engineering, and structural engineering. Alcocer Garcia Associates, Inc. was the highest ranked firm by Commissioner’s Court on January 9, 2013. Contract approval in the amount of $6,400.00 is being requested for professional services and legal counsel has approved the form contract as of 04/26/2012.
