Urban County Program, on behalf of Precinct No. 1 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Rojas construction (lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements) for the Texas General Land Office Round 2.1(GLO Contract No. 12-406-000-6453/DRS210068) in the amount of $252,442.00. The project consists of flood & drainage improvements within Precinct No. 1, Hidalgo County for the Delta Area Connector/East Lateral Colonia Infrastructure II Improvements, Olivarez #7, Olivarez # 9 and Olivarez # 18.

Bids were requested and received for Precinct No. 1 flood and drainage improvements. Quintanilla, Headley & Associates prepared specification packages. Bids were opened at Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on December 20, 2013. After review, the project engineer recommended Rojas Construction as the lowest responsible bidders.
