TheUrban County Program is requesting approval of a Budget & Program Amendment for the City of Peñitas workplans for Fiscal Years 24 & 25 (2011 & 2012). The Street Improvements projects will be cancelled and those funds will be transferred into the Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements line item for additional funding to the Peñitas Memorial Park.

 A Public Hearing was held on January 22, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at the Peñitas public library building and citizen participation requirements have been met. The city then held a meeting to approve the amended Work Plans. The City of Peñitas proposes that the funding be added for the Peñitas Memorial Park Improvements to include the purchase and installation of a splash pad, fencing, a sprinkler system, and a basketball court.
