BACKGROUND
Exhibit 1A-Asset 52729
GTR8000 Expandable Site Sub-System, Serial number 112 CMB0177. This asset was purchased with a 2009 SHSP Grant and part of an Interlocal between the City of Brownsville Police Department and Hidalgo County for equipment service sharing. As described under Section 5 of the Interlocal, "Any equipment purchased subject to the grant will remain the property of Hidalgo County and on the County's inventory records until April 15, 2012, at which the grant will end. The County of Hidalgo will transfer equipment and services to the Parties as described in the attached "Exhibit C" subject to TDEM guidelines and accordance with the Property Transfer Record Agreement attached hereto as "Exhibit B". The performance period of the grant has ended and therefore we request to remove the asset from the department inventory as stated in the Interlocal.
Exhibit 2B-Asset 46666
XTS 1500 Portable Unit, serial number 687TGWE438, Asset 46667, XTS 1500 Portable Radio, Serial Number 687TGWE439, Asset 46710, XTL 2500 Control Station, Serial Number 518CGX0527 and Asset 46706, XTL 1500 Dash Mount Radio, Serial Number 726TGU1707, were purchased by the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) with 2005 SHSP funding. All assets were purchased and listed under the OEM department inventory and loaned to the Linn/San Manuel Volunteer Fire Department under a Property Permanent Loan Form on 01/05/2007 "Exhibit B". On 12/11/2011 the building of the Volunteer Fire Department was destroyed by a fire and all the assets listed above were either located in the building or the fire truck. Verbal notification was made to OEM of the incident but no report was provided so an Affidavit to the fact is stated in "Exhibit C". Due to the loss of the asset deemed unrecoverable we request to have it removed from the inventory asset listing.
