BACKGROUND
The State reimburses the county for handling the Title IV-E Child Welfare/Legal cases. The Revised Contract includes an increase in the amount of the Anticipated Federal Reimbursement for Title IV-E. Original documents submitted to us by the Grantor had an incorrect formula thus resulting in a lower Anticipated federal Reimbursement for Title IV-E, this revision will correct it.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV-E County Child Welfare Services. However, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reimburses the county for part of the expenses when the county handles Title IV-E Cases. Actual reimbursement is based on Eligible Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during the month in which expenses are incurred.
