Requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of Edcouch FY 31 (2018) work plans.

A Public Hearing was held on December 20, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. and citizen participation requirements have been met. The City of Edcouch approved the budget and program amendment for its FY 31 (2018):
 
The amendment will delete the Water/Sewer Improvements and the Street Improvements activities to create a Parks, Recreational Facilities activity by $264,940.00 and add the following scope of work: Project consists of matching funds for a Texas Park and Wildlife Department application, for the development of the Edcouch Municipal/School Park. The park will include but not limited to the purchase and installation of playground structures, construction of multipurpose trails, forestation and native plants landscaping, splash pad, picnic shelters, parking lot, community garden, exercise stations, and a mini soccer field. Project will also include expenses for advertisements, professional service fees, material testing fees, and all related appurtenances, etc. Environmentally cleared in, FY 2017.
