Requesting Commissioners Court action to establish/set the following "Fiscal Year End" deadlines for the submission of requisitions for all goods and/or services:
  • November 13, 2020 for all major purchases (i.e. vehicles, furniture, equipment, etc.); and
  • November 25, 2020 for all minor (day to day) purchases (i.e. supplies)
with all goods and/or services requested ordered, received/rendered, and invoiced on or before December 31, 2020 for General Fund and all other applicable funding sources with limited exceptions: i.e. Sheriff's Dept. and Food Purchases

BACKGROUND

Goods and/or services not received/rendered and invoiced, on or before December 31, 2020, will be charged to the respective department's budget. 

Others have been concurred by the Purchasing Director, Budget and Management Director, and County Auditor.
