BACKGROUND
Texas Election Code Chapter 19 Financing of Voter Registration related activities for the Election Administration Department. Funding is generated through the initial, canceled and updated registration of voters in Hidalgo County. State funds disbursed under this chapter may be used only to defray expenses of the registrar's office in connection with voter registration.
FY 2022 grant period is from 6-1-2022 to 8-31-2024 (27 months); no cash match required.
