“Subject to compliance with HB 1295” the Urban County Program is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated contract for Professional Engineering Services with SAMES, INC. in the amount of $53,900.00 utilizing CDBG FY 34 (2021) San Juan Street Improvements Funding and approval of Work Authorization No. 1.
BACKGROUND
On March 22, 2022, Commissioner’s Court ranked and approved contract negotiations with SAMES, INC. for Professional Engineering Services. Project consists of reconstruction of streets to include but not limited to the adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity and related appurtenances. Other expenditures include professional engineering service fees, geo-technical and construction material testing fees, advertisements, etc.
Locations: Alfredo Street, Jaime Street, Standard Ave & W. 12th Street, amendment added Loma Verde, Loma Vista and A portion of Loma Linda Streets. See attached Contract, Exhibits, Work Authorization #1, Attachments, Certificate of Liability Insurance and HB1295 forms.
