Discussion, consideration, and approval to submit the grant application for the FY26 Criminal Justice Grant Program and authorizing the County Judge to sign the required documents.

The purpose of the Criminal Justice Grant Program is to solicit applications for projects that aim to enhance public safety, reduce crime, and improve the criminal justice system. Funding will be identified upon notice of grant award. The funds allocated through the Criminal
Justice Grant will be used to enhance the operational capacity and response efficiency of Hidalgo County during emergency operations. No fiscal impact at this time, submission of grant application only.
