Requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Play RGV, LLC the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $153,000.00 utilizing funds from Fiscal Year 2023 La Joya Parks and Recreational Improvement Funds
BACKGROUND
1.The bid opening was held on July 16, 2025 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Play RGV, LLC. The project consists of the purchase and installation of exercise and playground equipment for the existing La Joya Park. Attached is letter of recommendation by the project engineer RRP Consulting Engineers, LLC and contractor’s general liability insurance.
