BACKGROUND
The purpose of the grant is to increase effective enforcement and adjudication of traffic safety laws and to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes, as well as to enhance public information and education efforts during the enforcement period. The grant will enhance the visibility deterrence patrol due to a significant increase in speed-related (fatality/serious bodily injury) crashes within HCSO Jurisdiction.
Grant requires a cash match 20%. Grant application deadline is 09/25/2025
