The Alzheimer’s Association BOLD Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Risk Reduction, in partnership with ASTHO and NACCHO, is supporting local health departments in building capacity to lead community action planning meetings focused on improving brain health. Through the Risk Reduction Learning Collaborative, local health officials receive training to strengthen their understanding of dementia risk reduction, the role of social determinants of health, and how to implement the Community Convening Framework to guide local planning efforts.
