Requesting approval of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement (ICA) between the City of Hidalgo and Hidalgo County for issuance of TCOLE in-service training hours to eligible participants of the South Texas All Hazards Conference.

The County hosts the annual South Texas All Hazards Conference, which provides training and professional development opportunities for public health personnel, emergency response managers, first-line supervisors, and administrators. The County and the Hidalgo Police Law Enforcement Academy seek to enter into an agreement to coordinate the issuance of TCOLE in-service training hours for eligible participants attending the South Texas All Hazards Conference. This partnership aims to maximize available resources while supporting essential training, networking, and professional development opportunities in the most practical and efficient manner possible.
