Discussion, consideration, and possible action approving, the Urban County Program to award and enter into a construction contract with Synergy Development & Construction, LLC, the lowest responsible bidder, in the amount of $612,610.00, utilizing funds awarded to Hidalgo County by the Texas General Land Office (GLO) under Contract No. 24-067-022-E209 for the 2019 Disasters Funding Grant CDBG-DR funding, subject to compliance with HB 1295.
BACKGROUND
The bid opening was held on June 17, 2026 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Synergy Development & Construction LLC. Contract includes the award of Base Bid, Alternate #2 and Alternate #3. Please see attached letter of recommendation by HCDD#1, project engineers and contractor’s general liability insurance.
