1. Approval to submit Resolution for Texas General Land Office for the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Program effective March 4, 2025, to March 31, 2028.
2. Approval to authorize the Hidalgo County Judge and Hidalgo County Executive Officer as the county authorized officials to sign all documents.
3. Approval to authorize the Hidalgo County Auditor and County Treasurer as the grantee's financial officers to sign all documents.

Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Program (LHMPP) assists eligible entities by providing grants to develop or update local hazard mitigation plans, or to provide cost share for hazard mitigation planning activities funded through other federal sources. Funds allocated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and administered by the Texas General Land Office (GLO) to fund updates and the development of the Hazard Mitigation Plan as required by FEMA and implemented through TDEM (Texas Division of Emergency Management).
