BACKGROUND
Request approval for Hidalgo County Health & Human Services to apply for the NACCHO funding opportunity, Advancing Evidence-Based Strategies to Strengthen Vaccine Uptake and Confidence in High-Risk Communities, offered in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The opportunity will provide up to eight local health departments with fixed-price contracts of $40,000 each to implement and evaluate evidence-based interventions focused on improving vaccine uptake, access, and confidence among high-risk populations.
