The Urban County Program is requesting authority to purchase fire station equipment from Casco Industries, Inc. in the amount of $49,570.00 for the Edcouch Fire Department utilizing Year 20 & 21 (2007 & 2008) Fire Station / Equipment funding.
BACKGROUND
Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 has allocated $45,000.00 from it's 2007 FY funding and the City of Edcouch has allocated $4,570.00 from it's 2008 FY funding, for the purchase of Fire Station Equipment. There was one sealed bid received, it has been reviewed and approved by the Edcouch Fire Chief and has met the specifications. See attached bid and letter of request.
