The Urban County Program is requesting approval and award of contract to O.G. Construction in the amount of $129,011.00 for the Water/Sewer Improvements (Construction of Lab) in the City of Elsa, utilizing Years 18 & 21 (2005 & 2008) funds.
BACKGROUND
City of Elsa has requested sealed bids for the construction of a new lab at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on May 13, 2009. J.E. Saenz & Associates, project engineers, reviewed and submitted a recommendation to award to the lowest qualified bidder. A total of twelve (12) bids were received. See attached bid tabulation and letter of recommendation from J.E. Saenz & Associates. Inc. attached for your review.
