Approval of order to allow Hidalgo County Precinct 4 to rename South "I" Road to Veterans' Boulevard ( from 630 feet south of Trenton Road to Owassa Road).
BACKGROUND
The proposed change is being prompted by similar changes made by the City of Edinburg and the City of Pharr to honor all veterans. The proposed change has been coordinated with the City of Edinburg to ensure that the change is uniform from Freddy Gonzalez to the City of Pharr. City of Edinburg has contacted and advised the local post office and the LRGVDC 911 Program of the change which includes county portion of said road to be renamed.
