Requesting authorization to extend fiscal year agreement with Mujeres Unidas/Women Together-ESG Program YR 21- (2008) until April 30, 2010. Their agreement will terminate on Dec. 31, 2009.
BACKGROUND
UCP is requesting authorization to amend the agreement between Mujeres Unidas/Women Together and the Hidalgo County ESG Program-YR 21 (2008) until April 30, 2010. Mujeres Unidas/Women Together has requested an extension of the agreement until April 30, 2010 to be able to expend all the funds for YR 21 (2008). The two year contract with HUD for YR 21 ends on June 30, 2010. We recommend approval.
The grant awarded to Mujeres Unidas/Women Together in the amount of $186,564.00 will not change.
