Approval of Hidalgo County – Excessive Force Resolution

Hidalgo County Urban County Program is requesting approval on updating Hidalgo County’s existing Excessive Force Resolution.  The Excessive Force Resolution is a procurement requirement by the Texas Department of Rural Affairs (TDRA), the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), and Housing and Urban Development which includes CDBG, HOME,ESG, HPRP, CDBG-R.  The update request is due to the name change of the Office of Rural Community Affairs (ORCA) to the Texas Department of Rural Affairs (TDRA).  The new resolution will include the Office of TDRA.  Resolution will be filed in every contract awarded to the County of Hidalgo Urban County Program.     See Attached HCCCA & Resolution: New & Old.
