Requesting approval to reject the one and only bid received for the ORCA 2005 Colonia Construction Grant # 725195 Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project for Colonia Country View in Pct. # 4 and authorize re-advertising of bid.
BACKGROUND
The only bid received in the amount of $434,029.00 for Colonia Country View was higher than the budgeted amount and our engineering cost estimate of $287,427.00. We will be requesting that the engineer make minor modifications and clarifications to be incorporated into the plans and specifications. Therefore, we are requesting that the court reject the bid and grant authorization to re-advertise the ORCA 2005 Colonia Construction Project. Attached pleas find the Engineers recommendation and the bid tabulation sheet.
UCP Colonia Staff recommends approval.
Construction Funds Available: 2005 Colonia Construction Funds: $ 287,427.00
