Urban County Program on behalf of the Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a Construction Contract with All Pro Contractor’s Inc. (lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements) for the Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements Project located in Sunrise/Sunset Park, in Mercedes Texas, in the amount of $328,000.00 utilizing Year 21 & 22 (2008, 2009) Parks, Recreational Facility Improvement funds.

Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 has requested and received bids for the parks, recreational facility improvements project. Alcocer Garcia Associates, Inc. prepared specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on May 26, 2010. After review the project architect recommended All Pro Contractors, Inc. as the lowest of two (2) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from Alcocer Garcia Associates, Inc, copy of bid tabulations, and letter from Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 requesting approval.)
