The Urban County Program is requesting approval of an Amendment to a Professional Engineering Service contract with Halff & Associates, to increase the contract amount of $34,500.00 by $4,000.00 for a total amount of $38,500.00. The City of Progreso will utilize FY 2010 (Year 23) Street Improvements funds.
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program is requesting approval of amendment to a professional services contract approved on November 10, 2003. The original contract amount of $34,500.00 included the engineering services for a total of eleven (11) streets to be improved. The project was bid out in 2004, however, due to budgetary constraints the city opted to bid out only five (5) of the streets. The city now has additional 2010 funds that have been allocated for project completion of the remaining six (6) streets. (See attached increase certification submitted by Halff & Associates and agreed upon by the UCP.)
