Requesting approval of a Program Amendment for the City of Alton existing work plan for Urban County Program Year 23 (2010).  The amendment will delete the streets that have been previously completed with Urban County Program funds and other funding sources and will add new streets to the work plan.

The proposed program amendment for the City of Alton - Street Improvements line item will delete Sycamore, Eisenhower, Chicago and Bella Vista Streets.  The deleted streets have been completed with Urban County Program funds and other funding sources.

Add:  Mahala Avenue, Roosevelt Avenue, Oaxaca Street, Oak Street, Alamo Street and Jefferson Street.  Will include but not limited to the overlay of streets, engineering/testing fees and any other appurtenances as related to the project.  The proposed program amendment will not affect the original budget.  A Public Hearing was held on November 23, 2010 at 7:30 pm., and citizen participation requirements have been met.  See attached detailed amendment.
