Requesting authorization to dispose of Community Development Block Grant records for Program Years 1992 through 1998.

BACKGROUND

The San Antonio Housing & Urban Development regional office notified all administrative entities within the region that it had disposed of all CDBG  records for fiscal years 1992 thru 1998.  Federal regulations governing record retention require the County to maintain pertinent records for a period of 3 years from the date of closeout.  This requirement has been met.
