Urban County Program on behalf of City of Granjeno is requesting approval to award a construction contract to Sol Technologies, LLC for the purchase and installation of solar street lighting throughout the City of Granjeno utilizing Urban County Program Year 18 (2005) street improvement funds and a grant from USDA Rural Development totaling $313,840.00.
BACKGROUND
A Bid Opening was held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 with Sol Technologies, LLC as the only bidder. The City of Granjeno will be utilizing UCP Year 18 street improvement funds and a grant from USDA Rural Development for the purchase and installation of solar street lighting throughout the City of Granjeno based on the recommendation from Noe Garza Engineers.
Contract Amount: $313,840.00
Funds Available: $224,000.00 UCP Year 18 Street Improvements
$ 90,000.00 USDA Rural Development Grant
Total: $314,000.00
