BACKGROUND
Citizen participation requirements dictate that the county hold a public hearing to consider public comments on the Urban County Program FY 24 (2011) budget and program amendment prior to its resubmission to HUD. The Urban County Program published a public hearing notice in The Monitor on June 23, 2011. An additional Public Hearing was held by each city, advising the public of the budget amendment to meet citizen participation requirements. An amended FY24 (2011) Annual Action Plan will be resubmitted to the HUD office in San Antonio, Texas.
