1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under the Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) for Single Family Housing Property Surveys.
 

2. Presentation of the scoring grid of at least three (3) engineering firms from the County’s approved “pool” as graded and evaluated by Urban County Program and Hidalgo County Purchasing Department for the purposes of ranking by Commissioners' Court in connection with and Urban County Program Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation project for single family housing property surveys.
 

3. Authority to negotiate a one (1) year professional engineering service contract with the No. 1 ranked firm ______________________ for the provision of single housing property surveys.

Urban County Program and Hidalgo County Purchasing Department have evaluated and graded three engineering firms from the County’s approved “pool”. Guzman & Munoz Engineering & Surveying, Inc., Halff Associates Inc., and Rio Delta Surveying were the three firms. The Homeowner Rehabilitation Programs requires a surveys on single family housing property. In addition, due to the potential of future projects for single family properties surveys, the Urban County Program Staff is requesting a one (1) year contract for said services.
