Pursuant to previous approval (08/22/11) of award and contract (C-11-186-08-22)with Texas Land Reclamation, a request by awarded vendor to permit the subcontracting of UTW Transportation in connection to "Hidalgo County-Tire Disposal" project inasmuch as UTW Transportation provides the transporting of the tires for Texas Land Reclamation to the facility.
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to supporting documentation by awarded vendor and as reviewed and discussed with legal, it was concluded to request approval of the subcontracting with UTW Transportation by Texas Land Reclamation since UTW Transportation handles the transporting of the tires and carries all proper insurances as required by County.
Contract still pending execution pursuant to CC's action on this agenda item.
