Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 2 is requesting authorization to cancel the Engineering contract with Ramiro Gutierrez in the amount of $122,490.00 for professional services for a Flood Drainage Improvements Project know as the “Minnesota Drain” through the Texas General Land Office Contract No. 10-5066-000-5043 (formerly TDRA Contract No. DRS010068).
BACKGROUND
The overall project cost will be $ 1,135,408.39 of which $600,000.00 is being provided by the Texas General Land Office for disaster recovery and restoration of infrastructure for communities impacted in 2008 by Hurricane Dolly. The engineering services will be paid with Hidalgo County Precinct No.2 local funds.
