Approval of ORCA 2005 Colonia Construction Grant # 725195 Contract with Jimmy Closner & Sons Construction Co., Inc. of Mercedes, Texas in the amount of $260,325 for first time sewer improvements to 22 residents in Colonia Corina's Corner and Bella Vista located in the City of Alton ETJ area in Pct. # 3.

The project consists of first time sewer improvements including sewer service yard lines and septic tank remediation to 22 residents in Colonia Corina’s Corner and Bella Vista located in Pct.  # 3.  Bid opening was held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 and Jimmy Closner & Sons Construction Co., Inc. was the lowest of three (3) bidders.  Additional funding was reprogrammed for this project on March 13, 2007 by the City of Alton.  Attached please find the Engineers recommendation and the bid tabulation sheet.
