BACKGROUND
The Tobacco Settlement Report is annually prepared and submitted to the Texas Department State Health Services on or before March 31. The report reflects any un-reimbursed health care expenditures incurred during January 1, 2006 - December 31, 2006. The Tobacco Settlement Report will be utilized by the Texas Department of State and Health Services to determine the amount of proceeds from the Tobacco Settlement Permanent Trust Account to distribute to Hidalgo County.
